Overview of the book
The services offered through Grounded Schools Consultancy are based on ideas presented in Communicating Your IB School's Unique Story so you can find a short version here in either audio of video format. The book uses IB examples, but the steps fit any school and curriculum context. Schools all build culture in the same way!
CONSULTANT BIO
How I Got Here
Over two decades as a principal and head of school in IB international schools teaches you a few lessons about the overwhelming importance of school culture. Sixteen years as an IBEN workshop leader, evaluation team member and consultant teaches you some more things about the necessity of connecting professional learning to practical experiences in school. Seven years working on a PhD examining the impact of patterns of discourse in schools teaches you that the small things always matter. The combination of these disparate but related experiences are the foundation of my 4-step process to locating your school's story and shifting school culture - one conversation at a time.
Services
Even a good plan rarely survives a day at school so all services are flexible and can be tailored to suit your school's context with adjustments along the way. From one-off workshop sessions to combinations of services - whatever you need! Each service is offered for $800USD, all inclusive (e.g. per workshop, not per participant). A complimentary introductory workshop is also available for schools wondering if any of these services fit your needs.
