The workshop experience
The four-week Workshop Series provides a broad introduction to the consultancy process, emphasising the foundational principle that everyone is involved in storytelling as we tell ourselves our own story - why we do what we do in the way that we do it.. Available for small to large groups, this series is highly responsive to specific school needs, making it an excellent resource for whole-staff professional development or community introduction. It introduces participants to the essential link between school culture (what the school feels like from the inside) and school identity (what the school looks like from the outside). Over four focused workshops, participants explore how day-to-day interactions reveal a school’s deeply held values. School leaders can use this series to foster a shared understanding of how discourse patterns influence culture and to lay the groundwork for a successful culture shift. This option is particularly beneficial when the goal is to secure community-wide buy-in and initial understanding before attempting to shift the culture. The series helps the community recognize that culture building is a cumulative process achieved one conversation at a time.

Summary of Services
Leadership Program
This focused, four-week program guides individual leaders or leadership teams from the initial phase of identifying and articulating your school’s story through all four steps. The goal is to produce a concise, action plan to clarify the school’s story and commence implementation of the new discourse routines - as much support as you require.
Workshop Series
This intensive four-week series provides a broad introduction to the discourse shifting process in your school. The goal is to secure community-wide buy-in and shared understanding of how discourse patterns influence culture. The focus is on the influence of individuals in the school community when shifting school culture - getting the whole community involved.
Coaching Series
This eight-week program focuses specifically on skill development for pedagogical leaders. It targets the practical skills required in the four-step process. The series ensures leaders can effectively locate the story within the discourse and successfully implement new discourse routines to embed the articulated story into daily practice.
Mentoring Program
The most flexible and sustained service (six months), this program provides dedicated guidance through all four steps from planning to implementation. It is explicitly designed for leaders navigating the complexities of leading sustained change to ensure the school’s story becomes authentic and deeply embedded.
